Zaza needs a foster home

Zaza is an approximately 40 lb young adult terrier mix (pit bull? beagle? who knows!) who is stressed out by shelter life and is looking for a foster home for a week or longer. When she is out of her kennel, she enjoys chew toys and playing tug of war with people, but is also up for watching a movie and resting quietly near you. We don’ t know much about Zaza’s life before entering the shelter, but she seems to know ‘sit’ and has relatively good manners for a young dog. She is likely housetrained but may need a refresher so we recommend keeping a regular schedule of potty breaks until she’s comfortable. Staff can set you up with a crate and a plan to use at home. Zaza generally gets along with other dogs but we don’ t know how she feels about cats. If you have other animals in the home, we recommend slow introductions and should have a plan for keeping Zaza separate from your own pets when unsupervised.

Zaza is up for adoption, so a foster will need to be able to bring her back to the shelter to meet any potential matches with 24 hr notice.
