Emmie, Emersyn, Em urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

I am going through a major financial hurtle, and have to stay on a friends couch for a couple months while I get my life back together.

How long is fostering needed for?

Emmie is a sweet girl that loves her humans. She is a mix of two breeds that needs to be exercised a lot, but once at home she is really respectful and is generally pretty calm. She is incredibly smart, good off-leash, and loves to play ball. She doesn’t play with other dogs while at the dog park, but she also doesn’t have any disagreements with other dogs, she just values humans a bit more. She currently has a little brother (a dog – who is also looking for a foster home, it would be amazing if they could stay together during this time, but not necessary) so she is good with other dogs in the house, and has lived with a cat as well. I wouldn’t trust her around small rodents though as she’s known to have caught a bunny and bird before. She is extremely attached to me, so I need someone who is going to give her so many kisses. She is not very good on the leash, but has a gentle leader that makes it easy to walk her. I need a home for her from ASAP – end of September as I’m going through some major financial issues and will being staying with people for free that don’t allow dogs.
