Alfie, Alf urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

I am going through a major financial hurtle, and have to stay on a friends couch for a couple months while I get my life back together.

How long is fostering needed for?

A few months

Other notes

Alfie is such a sweet boy, as soon as he sees you he’s going to give you a million and one kisses. He’s such a cuddle bug and just wants to have fun, such a major goof ball. He has a lot of energy and would do well with somewhere that has a yard. He has to pee very frequently (every 2-3 hours) so he needs to be housed by someone who either works from home, or has a doggie door, otherwise he will go to the bathroom indoors unfortunately. He has an older sister (a dog that also needs fostering – it would be amazing if they could be fostered together, but it’s okay if they are separate) and he just copies everything she does, and just wants to cuddle her 24/7. He was adopted from Texas, and is a little skittish of other dogs at the beginning (at the dog park he doesn’t like if a dog smell him wrong for instance), but if he spends a day with a dog he gets super comfy and wants to be their best friend. So I think he would do just fine with another dog, as long as meals are fed separately. The nurse labeled him as “awkward” – so do with that as you will, but he’s a wiggle butt for sure.
