Daisy urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

I am seeking help rehoming my dog Daisy. She is a sweet and loving 45 pound
black lab mix who is microchipped, spayed and up to date on all of her shots.
She loves car rides and snuggling on the couch and she gets along well with
our cat. Unfortunately, Daisy has become aggressive towards our other dog and
we are not able to keep them separated permanently.

We have consulted with our vet and other experts and unfortunately they don’t
think this is a situation that is going to improve, even with very expensive
training. Daisy needs to be an only dog.

I have tried everything to rehome her where we live in Florida, listing her
on pet rehoming social media pages and on our local animal shelter’s website,
spreading the word to friends, etc. However, no one has expressed interest.
Is there any way your rescue would be able to take her on? I will drive her
to anywhere in the Southeastern US to give her a shot at the new home she
deserves. I think she will have better luck finding a new home if she is part of a rescue or foster program.

Daisy is a sweet bubbly girl with lots of energy, but what she wants most is to snuggle on the couch with you and chew on one of her favorite toys. She knows basic commands like “sit” and “lay down.”

Daisy is very friendly with people and even gets along well with her current family’s cat. However, she does not get along well with her family’s other dog and needs to live in a place where she can be the only dog. It would also be best for her to have a fenced in yard where she could run and play.
