Zeus urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

My father is suffering from heart failure and brain bleeds, and while he is probably not going to die this week or next he is on a very limited timeline.

His number one request has been that we get him home so that he can go about as much of a normal life as possible with his remaining time. However, after a home inspection by his case worker his home has been deemed unsafe as long as Zeus is around.

Zeus is a wonderful dog but he is 1.5 years old and energetic, and hasn’t seen my dad in weeks. Basically any fall or impact could trigger another brain bleed and there’s just no way to keep the two of them safe together. Moreover, Zeus has been alone for weeks and it is really terrible for him.

I have been trying every avenue I can for the past three weeks and I have found no solutions. Please consider taking Zeus in. He will get snatched up in a heartbeat.
