Winter urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

Work is taking me in an intense travel schedule throughout the next year, and leaving my cat with family isn’t working out. He still vomits from time to time, and being that I don’t come from a family of cat owners, they’re unequipped to care for him. I’m hoping to find a home that he will feel safe in, with a foster parent who is comfortable with cats, enough to truly treat mine like they were their own.

How long is fostering needed for?

Long term

Other notes

Winter is a complete sweetheart – he’s almost like a dog at times. He loves people, loves a never-ending scratch and is very affectionate. He doesn’t scratch or hurt you. He may nibble on your hands and feet, like most cats do, but will stop if you use a stern tone. Behaviorally, he’s very very easy to live with. He has a tendency to vomit after eating, and I’ve been on a journey of trying to find the remedy. Professionals have told me that it’s normal, though I’m not so sure. I will be honest, he will vomit. But my hope is that over a series of vet visits over the next month or so, that I’ll start to curb that habit. He had an UTI emergency at the end of last year that resulted in hospitalization, but has recovered and we haven’t seen signs of it returning.
