UMA urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

OUR 3 YO SPAYED FEMALE TORTIE has territorial issues and needs to work with someone who can work with her and wants to take on a sweet loving cat with special behavioral needs.

How long is fostering needed for?

Until a forever home for pet is found

Other notes

Uma is a sweet, loving frisky playful cat. She loves cat toys and to play and chase and likes to love bite.

Unfortunately when We moved to our new home 1.5 yrs ago, as an inside only cat, the outside cats in the neighborhood around the perimeter triggered an aggressive territorial response that she’s redirected on to whatever family member walks in through the back door. She had bit and scratched us aggressively when triggered.

She lives in the garage for now with w/ a cush setup for now but its not long term. We are hoping we might be able to place her with someone who has a passion for cat rehabilitation. Our local humane society has only offered humane euthanasia.

Once she’s in the garage she purrs and plays and cuddles….so its definitely territorial protectivenes that triggers her…but when she’s triggered it is very intense. Thank you for considering.
