Tucker urgently needs a foster home
Why is fostering needed?
My name is Leigh Hill. I am seeking to rehome my mom’s 9 year old neutered cat, Tucker, in a temporary foster home. She has had some serious health issues arise that prevent her from caring for her pets. She is not able to live independently in her own home with her pets at the moment. Her recovery is estimated to be 12 months. Her hope is to live independently again with Tucker.
How long is fostering needed for?
Tucker is very bonded with his owner. He’s been with her since he was a kitten and they have a wonderful relationship. Unfortunately, she can’t care for him anymore because of some significant health issues that have arisen. Tucker is loving and playful with people who he feels comfortable, but will need someone with lots of patience to give as well as experience with cats. It may take some time for him to warm up to you. Because Tucker is strongly bonded with his owner he can respond fearfully or aggressively towards other people. He would probably do best in a home with no children or other pets. He is healthy with the exception of a daily thyroid medication. We are hopeful that Tucker’s owner will be recovered enough to care for him again in approximately 12 months.
