Trixie needs a foster home

How long is fostering needed for?

until adopted or however long foster can house her

Other Notes

Trixie is a 40 pound medium mixed breed spayed female. Trixie just loves others dogs and she is such a nice size. Trixie was adopted and returned due to her escaping her tether on bathroom breaks. We have also learned that she is nervous with new people and takes some times to warm up to unknown people. She will do better in a quiet home that doesn’t have a lot of activity. Previous home indicates that Trixie is housetrained and crate trained. We are looking for a dog savvy foster that is willing to follow behavioral instructions to allow Trixie to be able to relax in the foster home. We will facilitate any in person meetings with Trixie to help assist potential adopters. Poor Trixie is very distressed at living in the shelter so we are looking for a foster home to give her a break from shelter life and help provide more behavioral information. Please understand that the introduction process may be slow and allow for time to get her acclimated to you. Trixie will be available for foster starting Saturday so that I can facilitate a meeting with you. Please contact me for next steps.
