Tricolor Female puppy needs a foster home

Medium mixed breed unspayed female 6 months old. This sweet girl was surrendered to animal control with her sister because her family could not properly care for them. We did not get any details but I was told they lived with children but I don’t know the ages. She is still a puppy so there are some puppy behaviors like jumping and she is fearful of fast movements so we are not recommending small children. She is not doing well in the shelter. She is presenting as defensive in her cage. She does warm up slowly and once she does she is very affectionate and silly. We need a foster who understands how to go at her pace and allow her to settle in. She is potentially friendly with other dogs but we are looking for a foster who will separate her at least for the first week or so to give her time to decompress before attempting introductions. She is probably not housetrained but it shouldn’t be too difficult given her age. If you have a quiet home to let this sweet girl decompress and come out of her shell, please contact me. We are unable to accept her into our program until we have secured a foster for her.
