Teddy urgently needs a foster home
Why is fostering needed?
A family member had a medical emergency and I have to relocate indefinitely to become their caretaker. Their community does not allow pets so I need a foster to take him in until we can find a permanent home.
How long is fostering needed for?
Until a forever home for pet is found
Other notes
Teddy is a two year old German Shepherd mix who only weighs around 30 pounds. He is current on all his vaccinations and currently on heartworm and flea & tick prevention. He is very playful (his favorite game is tug-of-war), but he also loves to take cuddly afternoon naps on the couch. He knows basic commands like sit, settle, stay, place, shake, and leave it. He is reactive when approached by unfamiliar dogs and people. He is not aggressive and typically just wants to play, but he has improved over time with training. A home with a fenced yard is ideal. He has a high prey drive so he would do best in a home without cats or small children.
