Supernova urgently needs a foster home

Nova is a very curious and youthful spirit, even at 5 years old. He always wants to explore new things, whether it be getting a good sniff outside or inspecting whatever new items you bring into the home. He’s a very sweet boy that loves attention just as much as his regular nap times and is always happy and purring. Nova loves to be wherever people are and, if he’s not wanting pets or playtime, he’s resting quietly nearby.

Nova is very vocal once he’s comfortable and will happily have conversations with anyone who wants to. He sings as well! Food time is his absolute favorite time and his most vocal. Giving him lots of treats and pets will make him the happiest kitty.

A home with dogs or no other pets would be best for Nova. He loves dogs and he does like other cats, but his insistence to be close to them and want to interact can be offputting. He doesn’t understand boundaries with other cats. Nova has no experience with kids, though he loves people and has a very docile temperament. He does not, however, have the best claw etiquette. Nova won’t scratch furniture if you shoo him away once or twice, but he does accidentally scratch people sometimes.

While Nova is generally very good at listening, he does get a bit of an attitude at times, generally when he’s hungry. He will absolutely yell at you for food a few times but he’s not defensive about his food or toys. In fact, Nova is shy and has anxiety, so he’s more likely to run and hide for a while rather than be aggressive in any sense. He’s generally more on the skittish side and does not like fast movements or loud noises. All-in-all, Nova is an extremely easy cat to love and care for. He’s a very relaxed and happy cat with a youthful energy.
