Smokey needs a foster home

How long is fostering needed for?

Until a forever home for pet is found

Smokey is a 6 year old large mixed breed male weighing 81 pounds. Smokey came from a situation where he was kept outside in a pen alone his whole life. Despite that he is very gentle and friendly. We have not dog tested him yet. He has a chemical injury in his eye that he needs meds for. He is also heart worm positive and needs oral meds. He walks really slow on leash and really just lays around a lot. I think he will be with us for a while so I would love to get him a break from the shelter for any amount of time. Any one have some space for this sweet, gentle guy?
