Ruby urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

My pitbull of 6 years has not adapted to my son. She is fearful and can be aggressive towards kids. My parents have temporarily taken custody of her while I try to find a new home but they are aging and unable to care for her adequately. I am having a very hard time finding a new home
For her when I disclose her issues with kids. I have been hitting a lot of dead ends in my network of rescues and dog lovers in general. I’ve worked with trainers to help with this but her fearful reactions are still an issue. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

How long is fostering needed for?

Long term

Other notes

Ruby Sue is between 6 and 7 years old. She is a very energetic girl who loves to look out windows, chew her Kong, and play fetch. She is extraordinarily affectionate and emotionally intelligent. She had a rough past. She was pretty badly abused before she was rescued and is consequently dog reactive and occasionally reactive with children. She is very good with her fellow pitbull housemate Hadley however. They cuddle and sleep in the same bed all the time. Ruby loves to train and is very intelligent. She will give you no shortage of affection and happily curl up next you you and chill. Ruby Sue is crate trained and has completed obedience training courses.
