Ruby urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

I need to find a temporary home for Ruby until a new, permanent home can be found

She is a very sweet girl, but unfortunately needs to be an only child, and we have two other rescue dogs that we have had for a significant amount of time. Below is some information about miss Ruby, along with some photos. I have been trying to privately adopt her out, but unfortunately, most everyone who has been interested has additional pets and I am worried for their safety.

Meet Ruby. She is a 14 month old, spayed, Weimaraner Mix (See last image for DNA results).

Ruby is energetic, happy, loving, and very playful. She loves to play fetch, go for walks, and play in the water. She is fully house trained and knows basic commands, such as sit, stay, get up and get down. She is also fully crate trained.

We have been fostering Ruby for the last 6 months but need to find her a permanent home ASAP. While she is a very sweet dog, she does appear to need to be an “only dog” as she gets jealous when other dogs get attention and has gotten quite aggressive towards our other pets. She would be great for a young family who loves to play outside and go on adventures during the day, then wind down for snuggles in the evening.

She is a very sweet girl who loves attention. She has not had many interactions with kids, but the ones she has had have been very positive. She is tall and gets excited, so she may be best suited for children over the age of 5.

We have not experienced her with other animals, such as cats, but given her breed and her potential for a high prey drive, she is probably best suited to be the only animal in the house.

She is a loving girl that just needs to find the perfect home!
