Roscoe urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

I am temporarily staying with family that cannot have a pet in their home. I intend to be there for 4-6 months. I need to be out of the home we are in by 9/5/2022

Roscoe has been my guardian, almost angelic in the way he watches over me. Yet he is not a gaurd dog!!! He has been my best friend for years. Me and my brother have had him since he was a Lil guy. Not an infant, but old enough to have been traumatized but the people that he was rescued from.
He is great around children, he lived with 3 girls under the age of 7 for awhile until about 6 months ago. He has never used the house as his urinal. Completely housebroken. We live out in the country, so he has been on a lead most of his life. And is pretty good with walks. But there aren’t any other domesticated animals here now, and I haven’t had any time to take him to meet other friendly dogs. So, he does not get along with other animals.
Roscoe is a teddy bear in the home. He awaits for me to come home with the biggest smile you’ll ever see, his smile will melt your heart. As it does mine every time I see it.
His commands are a little different. Kick it means sit. All the down means lay down. And not yours or not for you if he is being a bit too interested in something. And a strong ‘OOOOOH DOG” for no, Or just a stern NO.
PLEASE HELP MY BEST FRIEND FROM THE LAST ALRERNATIVE, A LOCAL NO KILL SHELTER. I would like to reunite with him after winter, when I find us a new home.
