Roku urgently needs a foster home
Why is fostering needed?
My uncle has reached a point in his addiction causing us to rehome his pets. I have been taking care of one of them for the past year (as in taking him to vet appointments, getting vaccinations, etc) I recently got offered a position that will prevent me from making sure the dog is taken care of and fine. I was wondering what your rehome options look like? as I want him out of my uncles house ASAP.
How long is fostering needed for?
Until a forever home for pet is found
Other notes
Roku is an amazing dog he is a husky/shepherd mix. He does very well with people and dogs. Sometimes he can get shy with men (will growl) but once you pet him he’s fine. Has never bit anyone, has met my boyfriend and been around men he just gets shy with them due to his previous owner. I just got offered a position that requires weekly traveling and he deserves a home that will have him be a dog and given a lot of love. Preferably a yard. He knows sit, wait, paw, spin, guard, legs, and switch. He sits when you stop on walks and sits before walking into homes and leaving. He’s an eager learning dog quick to learn. He’s crate trained all vaccines up to date and neutered has been around cats and does well. I just want a good family for him. A year old and just a really good dog but would need a leader to really thrive. Would do well as a family dog. Prong, food, supplements, and toys will come with him
