Rocky & Poppy urgently needs a foster home
Why is fostering needed?
I’m military stationed overseas.
How long is fostering needed for?
Long term
Other notes
Rocky is a an absolute lover and licker. He gets along with everybody and everything. He is kennel trained, but does whine for the first few minutes being in his kennel, but quickly gets over it. He loves to be played with! He has a bit of a sensitive stomach, so it’s usually best to keep him on the same/regular diet along with some sensitive stomach friendly treats.
Poppy is also a lover. When someone comes to the door she will be your guard dog and bark a little bit. She is a bit shy getting to know others, and other dogs, but once she is settled in she becomes an absolute cuddle bug. Her stomach is a bit stronger, so she can handle a more regular diet, but we just keep it the same as Rockys for ease. Poppy is also kennel trained.
Both are potty trained, however, it’s important that their bathroom schedule is maintained otherwise (as Chihuahuas) they will regress. They are typically taken out 3 times a day (morning, afternoon, night). Following this schedule, there are no issues. Of course, they will hold it if they are in their kennel.
