Rocky urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

I recently got out of treatment and sober living. I have an 8 year old son and have CPS involvement. Their requirement was for me to move back home for the trial home visit. My parents are allergic and they live in an apartment that doesn’t allow pets. I need a place for him to stay while I can find my own place again, the most is 4 months. I’ve had my dog staying with a friend but unfortunately they are no longer able to watch him while I get back on my feet. I’ve been trying everything in my power to keep him because he is part of my family contrary to what my parents believe and I just can’t give him up.

How long is fostering needed for?

A few months

Other notes

He is a big love bug. He is a pretty goofy guy that loves to play with rocks. He can be protective of the house but has never been overly aggressive just trying to protect the ones he loves. He is potty trained unless he is left alone for long periods of time and is unsure when he will be let out (that hasn’t happened in a long time). He can get pretty anxious when left alone and when it gets bad, he tends to chew on plastic. He does great with other dogs and tolerates cats for the most part. He can be food aggressive or bone aggressive but never with humans just with his brother snoopy. He tends to pull on the leash but has gotten a lot better. He generally doesn’t run off if let outside with you out there with him.
