Rey and Ren urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

I am trying to escape domestic violence. My soon to be ex husband has threatened my child’s cats. I would love to have a safe place for the cats to live while I am looking for my own housing, where we could possibly visit the cats for my child’s sake. When we can complete the transition away from our abuser, we can get the cats back. I can pay for all associated food, medical, and litter costs. They are sweet, easy going orange males.

How long is fostering needed for?

A few months

Other notes

Rey and Ren are very easygoing. They love kids of all ages (and adults too). Both are fine with other cats, and other dogs. They like to cuddle, snuggle, and be close to their people.

Both cats are litter box trained and very good about tidiness. Generally, they prefer one box and it needs to be cleaned a couple of times a day – no matter how many boxes provided. They like to sit in the empty bathtub in the summer because it keeps them cool, and near a heater floor vent in winter to be cozy.

Both boys enjoy being brushed. They don’t like their nails trimmed, but it’s gotta be done. They’re not very interested in toys or playing. They’d rather snooze on a lap. Each has a sense of humour and neither has much sense of self preservation.
