Ralf urgently needs a foster home
Why is fostering needed?
6 months ago I fled my home due to a domestic violence situation, I am now losing the home I had moved into after and for my safety it’s necessary for me to temporarily move in with family in Colorado. I am a wildland firefighter and hope to work a season, or will be finding other work to get back on my feet financially. My animals mean everything to me and have saved my life, the last thing I want is to lose them. I am currently able to bring my dog with me but am looking for temporary housing for my cat while I build back up.
How long is fostering needed for?
A few months
Ralf is an incredibly sweet, rambunctious, can be high energy at times, but loves his naps and sitting on the windowsill watching the birds. He’s a big fan of sitting in any and all boxes he can find, especially ones too tiny for him to really fit.
My previous partner had always wanted a Maine Coon and I had went along with him to go pick up Ralf. On that ride home Ralf fell in love with me and I with him. I now believe that Ralf may only be part Maine Coon, but he is a pretty big kitty nonetheless and I’m sure will continue to grow some over the next few years. That being said, one of my favorite things is hearing him gallop around the house, sounding a bit like a very tiny horse haha. He loves snuggling, mostly on his own accord and especially in the mornings. He gets along well with dogs, living with a German Shepherd/Great Dane mix and a small Terrier mix. He hasn’t lived with other cats but I do believe based on his personality and behaviors he would do well after acclimating.
