Rae urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

Rae is a female Border Collie and Australian Shepard Mix about 40lbs. I adopted her from someone who posted on social media. From what I know, she is up to date on her shots (I can reach out to the prior owner to get the vet info). She is also spayed, and crate trained. I have a back yard that is not fenced, she will go outside, use the restroom, and return to the door to be let in. She understands commands of sit, lay-down, come, stop, quiet. She is extremely intelligent. Rae is extremely affectionate as well. She loves to be with her owner and to be petted. She longs for that interaction. Since getting her, I have said, she would make a fantastic therapy dog as she is so soft and longs for the human touch. Unfortunately, she recently got into an altercation with my other dog in my home. Rae seems to be protective of her food and I am not sure if this was a factor. Rae would benefit most from a single animal household. I know that she can make someone so happy. I hate to think of Rae being put down. She just needs the right environment. Please consider Rae. She is really a sweet dog. I am looking to rehome her as soon as possible. If you are interested, please contact me.
