Quartz urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

My landlord would not renew our lease so we had to find someone to room with until i go back to work I am currently on maternity leave. The roommate we are moving with has dogs that are not cat friendly and they are allergic to cats so we are not able to being them but it is our only living option at the moment until I am able to go back to work.

How long is fostering needed for?

Until a new home is found

Silver and Quartz have never been apart. They are very loving and social once they warm up to you. Quartz loves to sleep on feet and legs once she is comfortable with a person. Silver will cry if she is away from her sister. They don’t like car rides, Quart will cry the whole time and Silver gets car sick. They are spoiled and get their favorite canned tuna everytime I have tuna myself. Quartz loves chasing after lights and light reflections. Silver is more lazy. Sometimes Silver is mean to her sister Quartz. Quartz will vocalize herself if she wants something whether it be more food, water, or pets. Silver has some knots in her fur she will fight you if you try to cut them out but you can feel them hanging off. I recently noticed they have what looks like dirty ears but upon some research looks like they have ear mites. I have been massaging their ears with a cotton ball that is soaked with mineral oil and it has helped. Quartz will sit more still to have this done but Silver needs to be held down. They are very independent most of the time and just love to lay around.
