Puck urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

I agreed to foster this precious guy until we found him a home. The family is divorcing and cannot keep him. I am now in Florida and traveling back and forth to California. My place is too small to foster him again. I’m quite concerned because he had been badly neglected.

How long is fostering needed for?

Until a forever home for pet is found

Other notes

Puck is a 21 lb., chipped and neutered Border Terrier mix. He is only 22 months old, but was adopted during the pandemic, and has already known 4 homes. 2 returned him because of landlord issues. One grossly neglected him, and I fostered him with a requirement of a return to me in case of a failure. He is a love-bug, that adores cuddling, the water, and chasing balls. He needs lots of exercise. As much as I would love for him to be a “failed foster”, I travel too much to keep him. A house with a fenced yard would be ideal since he likes exploring. He plays well with kids and other dogs, hasn’t had much experience yet with cats, but doubt that would be an issue.
Puck is whip-smart and would be great for service training or any outdoor herding activities. As a bi-coastal human, we can make arrangements for a meeting in this day and age, but he does love California.
Please help. I will get back to you as soon as possible to make arrangements for a visit. Prepare yourself for lots of laughter and love.
