Polly urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

My twin sister and I recently returned to Los Angeles after facing unemployment and homelessness in Utah. Thanks to generous donations, my sister, my cat Polly, and I managed to make the journey back to our relative’s place in LA. However, our relief was short-lived as our relative’s severe cat allergies meant Polly couldn’t stay with us. Thankfully, a childhood friend stepped in to care for Polly at her home in North Hollywood. Unfortunately, our friend’s situation has changed, and she’s no longer able to look after Polly due to her children falling ill and needing extra care. Despite these challenges, my sister and I are actively working to gather the necessary funds and support to secure a permanent living situation where we can reunite with Polly and provide her with the care and love she deserves.

How long is fostering needed for?

A few months

Other notes

Hello, our baby girl, Polly, just turned 5 years old this April 2024. She was adopted during the pandemic and has remained the sole house cat since she was a kitten. She is very loving once she gets to know you. She was not very socialized as a kitten due to the social distancing of the pandemic. She has only known my sister and I. She is currently living with our cousin as both my sister and I are between jobs and temporary living since being laid off of work. Unfortunately, my cousin cannot take care of Polly anymore as she will be traveling for work soon and our current roommate is severely allergic to cats. Polly is very loving and sometimes will fetch for treats. Sometimes she reminds my sister and I of our late dog, Shadow. We are looking for a temporary foster home until we can be situated with a permanent house to take Polly back. Polly is spayed and is fully vaccinated. We can answer any additional questions if needed. Thank you for your support.
