Piper urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

I’m looking for a rescue to take my dog because she doesn’t get along with my other dogs. I need a foster because it is not safe for her to be here with my other dogs.

How long is fostering needed for?

Until a forever home for pet is found

Piper is a five year old AKC registered German Shepherd. She is spayed and up to date on shots. I have had her for a month but can’t keep her because she doesn’t get along with my two female Border Collies.
Piper has good leash manners and knows basic commands. She loves going for walks around the neighborhood and hikes in the desert.She is very lean (60 lbs.). Her previous owner was a man but she has bonded with me and my daughter (age 20). Because we have to keep her separated from our other dogs Piper spends a lot of time in my daughter’s room (college student) and is very happy to just snooze on the dog bed while my daughter studies.

Piper does need some manners training. She will jump on people especially when excited and she treats furniture like a playground. But she is very smart and I think she’d learn fast with consistent training.
