Pepper urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

I am seeking a foster family for my mother‘s dog. She has recently broken her ankle and is being hospitalized for that amongst some other issues, and will be sent to a rehabilitation center for a month. My apartment complex does not allow pets and none of my family or friends are able to care for the dog at this time.

How long is fostering needed for?

A few weeks

Other notes

Pepper is a loving and active dog. We rescued him from an abusive home so he has anxiety and separation issues. He is OK to be left home alone he will bark for a while, and when he calms down he will stop. He may have some issues eating regular dry food being away from his home and family and may have to eat wet food for a couple days. because of the first family, he was originally with he was not taken care of or properly potty trained so pepper has a marking issue,he does need to be in a bellyband 24 /seven unless he is outside, he has very occasional seizures that may last 30 seconds to a minute it is normal for him and he is not required to be on any medication. He does not get along well with other dogs and I would not recommend he be around small children. Pepper is truly a sweet and playful little dog. He just needs to feel safe and loved. He absolutely loves blankets and his squeaky toys and tons of treats.
