Why is Fostering Needed?

I am a college instructor in la county who lost their home due to covid. My new living arrangements prevent me from keeping my four cats that I love and adore. I have the funds to support them food, vet bills, etc. I just want them to have a loving home to enjoy while I find a new place in the meantime. Thank you for your consideration.
