Patches (may answer to Patch) urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

I have medical restrictions and recent career status changes due to my loss of full range of function with many everyday activities. My cat is emotional support, but sadly I can no longer afford to live with my cat due to financial hardship. Currently, I’m changing paths to a related career and working on getting a solid income again in hopes to have my precious Patches back one day.

How long is fostering needed for?

A few months

Other notes

Patches tends to have a good amount of energy and is fast. She also enjoys some quiet time during the daytime especially in a new/noisy environment. We have lived in a studio apartment and she likes to roam outdoors in a contained courtyard, different rooms indoors, or a backyard. She loves playing “soccer” with the little ball-pit balls, watching birds, cuddling with her owner, and loungin’ around. She also has been sensitive to my emotions during hard times and very comforting. It is also funny when she gets to be a guard kitty. For example, Patches would lay or sit in the hallway to the shared laundry room, while watching by the doorway while I watched TV in the theater room. Patches is not socialized to be around other cats or young children. Some dogs have been around her in my apartment complex for short periods of time and she is ok with most. She is spunky and does get scared easily but doesn’t hide much under the bed or for long. When I have traveled or stayed away from home for more than a night, she displays some separation anxiety after effects but it seems pretty typical of cat behavior. Her coat is extremely soft!
