Oscar urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

We are moving across the country from WA state to Louisiana and he needs a stable place to stay for a couple of months. We have been in the process of moving for since February and have been working super closely at PetZen in Gig Harbor, WA. He has had many, many medical bills and the vet has determined it is the anxiety making him not pee and eventually had a multi-day visit to the local animal ICU. There is nothing else wrong with him. He has been at the vet’s office since and cannot return to our partially vacated/doing open houses home.

How long is fostering needed for?

A few months

Other notes

The sweetest, softest little guy ever. Very cuddly, very not vocal-he chirps occasionally. Doesnt scratch items or us–uses his claws so little we have to trim them regularly. Only pees and poops in the litterbox. We are only looking for a temporary foster because we are moving from Washington state to Louisiana and he cannot take the unstable environment. We are anxious to find him a good temporary place before we can bring him to our new home once it’s unpacked/settled. He loves the fish-on-a-string type toys with a tinkling bell on the end and playing fetch. He is currently on anti anxiety meds. He is staying at the vet and has been perfectly fine but they can’t accomodate him the whole time. We are more than happy to pitch in. Our new house will be ready by end of May. We do not own dogs or other cats so not sure how he would respond.
