Nix (male), Ana (female) urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

I am a stay at home mother currently going through a divorce with an emotionally abusive man who cannot stay clean from drugs for a long amount of time. I have a 4 year old daughter. 2 dogs which need rehoming and 2 cats which I can bring with me to my next place. The only thing keeping me in this house, is not having a temporary home for my 2 dogs. 6 months at least is what I need.

How long is fostering needed for?

Ana is 3, nix is 2 years old. Nix is not neutered, ana is. Nix also has a microchip but it expired last year and we were not able to renew the subscription. Ana is not chipped that I know of? But she may be since we got her from hearts of hope. I just don’t remember.
Ana is very healthy but a picky eater.
Nix has hip dysplasia. He had surgery on his hip at 7 months old to help him on one hip. The other one was slightly effaced when we had his first surgery. They’re not leash trained as I live on ten acres and have been a stay at home mom this entire time with very little help from my husband. They probably need updated vaccines but we also haven’t had the money for that due to the drug use from my husband. Nix is sensitive to being pushed or proded at by small children. My daughter was not the nicest when he was a baby and he’s gotten better and so has she. I wouldn’t recommend housing with children who can’t understand not to mess with him.
