Niffler urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

Due to personal reasons we have to travel abroad for an extended period and are looking for a foster home for our dog, Niffler. We would want him to have a home while we are gone rather than a pet lodging facility. We will be providing all the resources.

Niffler is a sweetheart. A rambunctious rambler is what he was described as when we got him and he is just that. We adopted him from Seattle Humane in 2020. He’s been with us for 3 years. He’s got high energy and loves his walks. He is crazy about tough squeaky toys, play tug and obliterate cardboard boxes before we recycle. A total attention seeker, he loves endless attention and back scratches and belly rubs. He does not do well with other dogs and when anxious (bored or no walk/exercise) he shadow chases. We seldom use any anti anxiety meds. He does have mild behavioral issues due to trauma before we adopted him. We have a toddler and he does well with him and in general other kids, but we would not recommend that.
