Morris urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

My temporary residence is an apartment where there is another dog and cat. My dog does not like cats and it is unfair to kennel him.

How long is fostering needed for?

A few months

Other notes

Morris is very high energy and needs a yard. He enjoys spending his day outside and likes having a friend to play with. He enjoyed playing fetch, tug a war and playing with bugs. He has recently discovered he does enjoy water (but doesn’t like baths of course) and likes to splash around in it.

He is a big sweetheart and loves other dogs (including small dogs) and kids. He is the first to greet everyone at the dog park and loves to give the other dogs kisses. He does not like cats, birds, ect.

He is kennel trained and enjoys his space and time in the kennel.

He does have a sensitivity to meat so he is on a salmon based diet. He used to be extremely food motivated but we have worked very hard with him and he is doing a lot better. He does get protective over bones.

He is very stubborn and smart so sometimes chooses to ignore you but he quickly picks up new tricks. He has struggled with some separation anxiety and can act out if left alone in the house.

He can be demanding if he is bored so having a yard is ideal for Morris as he enjoys spending his time outdoors.
