Minou urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

My cat and my daughter’s cat absolutely do not get along. (We tried for 2 1/2 months to introduce them slowly, but we were not successful and sometimes a cat would get loose and there were fights. One cat was terrified; the other developed a UTI.) I’d like to keep my cat, but am hoping to find a foster home until my adult daughter can get a place of her own. This may take some time, since she does not currently have an income.
We keep the house divided when both cats are there, but it is quite difficult. A foster situation would be very helpful.

Minou was rescued after living outside for a while; he was very thin when first found. Minou is very friendly (and wants to be where the action is!), very active, and very cuddly. He likes to climb, eat, and play. He does not like to be alone. He is so friendly; it is possible that he could get along with other pets, but he has had a very bad experience with another cat, who did not accept him. From what I can tell, he is good with children.
