Minnie urgently needs a foster home
Why is fostering needed?
Her name is Minnie, she came from a very very bad backyard breeding place with owners having a serious meth drug problem, she was taught bad habits and underfed and no clean water sources, physical abuse and attempted forced breeding that failed, having too fight for her food and she needs a home desperately or she’s gonna be put down, she’s a senior, responsive & smart… a little whiny but she likes walks and she can play fetch. I’m not sure how good She is with other dogs because of Her previous Living situation and I’m not sure how good She is with cats or other Animals in general or children for that Matter. But if I don’t find a home for her in 5 days she’s probably gonna be put down And I really want to avoid that she’s a really good companion for possibly an older woman or man who is willing to take on a senior German Shepherd pure breed that is not meant to have any kids! she has not produced any litters for whole life so I’m trying to avoid someone who is seeking to breed. I am trying to find a place to get her fixed I think that will calm her down alot, I’m unsure what else to say but please contact me, I need help and cannot keep her, it’s an emergency. Any help is greatly appreciated & she has everything a dog would need from a harness , leash to bag of food bowls & bones, flea bath shampoo and gave her a flea medicine treatment, I bought her all of that imeadiately. Thanks

How long is fostering needed for?
Until a forever home for pet is found
Other notes
I gave a lot of information in my previous entry but here is some more information. She (MINNIE) has enough energy for approximately 10+ minutes of playing fetch in the morning usually after taking her out for going potty, and then a 20 minute walk before dark or after dark and she’s calm throughout the night until the next morning, I’m not sure how she is with children cats or other dogs because of her previous ownership I have a concern that she may be somewhat aggressive in a situation with new cat’s dogs, Or children. She mostly sleeps, wants to cuddle & is kind of low maintenance, she is a senior I would say 8 plus years, Once she is comfortable with you she is very affectionate and possibly a good guard dog if that’s what someone is looking for she is smart and is responsive to commands such as sit, go lay down, And can play fetch with commands like, leave it, or bring it, or drop it. Snapping whistles & clapping she responds well to if she doesn’t follow verbal commands first. She is serious need of help she is very affectionate and sweet once a rapport is established with said human. She may be hesitant and scared at first but she will eventually understand your feeding&watering and caring for her. I would keep her a thousand times over if I could but I cannnot sadly. Please any help is good just no kill shelters or backyard breeders please 🙏 Any help is greatly appreciated and resource for getting her fixed are neccessary, I think it will calm down her separation anxiety and aggressive issues. I look forward to hearing back from you, I have had little to no luck elsewhere.
