Medusa urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

I am currently going through domestic issues with my former partner’s family. When I would leave the home they would abuse my puppy by locking her in small confined areas, taking her food and water, beating her, making her lay in her feces, or the most extreme was taking all of her identification off of her and setting her free in the neighborhood. She’s a 9-month old Doberman Pinscher puppy. She doesn’t deserve this. I have since been vacated from my own home by them even though I am the home owner so I have been sleeping from place to place until court can get the situation fixed but until then she has nowhere to go. People assume because of her breed that she is dangerous and will not watch her until I can get her back. This is my last option as I am unsure of what to do next.

How long is fostering needed for?

Until a new home is found

Other notes

She is finicky around other dogs. She loves them but is very shy and does not do well to be forced to engage with them.

What I love about her is that she does not eat table food besides healthy, raw fruits or cooked vegetables. Sooo, offering her McDonald’s and other fast food or highly processed foods do not make her go crazy. She actually has yet to eat/try it.

She is a huge cuddle bug and will follow you everywhere, even attempts to get in the shower with you if you leave a door cracked.

She destroys all of her toys and it sometimes only takes a few minutes before she starts trying to eat it. I secretly believe she has pica.

She is mostly house and crate trained but from the abuse she suffered at the hands of my former partners family it seems that she has partially reverted back to sometimes going to the bathroom in her crate.

She is very nosey.

I carried her too much as a small puppy so she thinks she can sit on you all the time. She doesn’t know that she is big.

Will TRY to eat anything fuzzy, besides live animals.

She is not fixed and I would not have it any other way as she is perfect the way she is.
