Maggie urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

My father, unfortunately, is moving into assisted living and is unable to take care of his dog, Maggie. I already have one dog with behavioral issues and am not financially stable enough to care for another. We have reached out to many other family members and friends to try and see if anyone would be willing to temporarily or permanently take her in and have had no luck. We have a family member watching her now, but they will need to release her in 2 weeks, and I need to find a temporary place for her while I am still looking for a forever home. I do not want to take any chance taking her to the local shelter where she may be euthanized. It breaks my heart to give her up, but I know she needs to go to a great home that can give her all the love and care she needs.

How long is fostering needed for?

Until a new home is found
