Mack / clipped ear urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

I’m trying to help my disabled brother who is homeless living in an RV while our family tries to help him get on SSI so he can get into assisted living – hopefully WITH his cat (we are going back and forth with his social worker but it’s a very long story) and it’s not really relevant..

Anyway, he would like for someone to temporarily foster Mack (like the truck – cause the vet at the adoption center said he was as big as a Mack truck lol) until he’s either able to get him registered as an ESA or is able to bring him when he gets into a home.

The reason he can’t bring him right now is because APS (adult protective services) will be picking him up, possibly early next week, and he won’t be able to immediately bring Mack with him.

If anyone is willing to house Mack for a month to a few months, my brother would greatly appreciate the help! I would really hate for him to lose Mack because he’s really all he has and his other cat escaped a while back. 🙁

It would give us family some relief knowing his best friend will be cared for while we’re figuring things out for him!

How long is fostering needed for?

A few months

Other notes

I’m making this post for my disabled brother – so I’ll explain Mack as best I can! He’s a big fat boy, but my brother has tried to help him lose weight, which he has! He’s also just a big boy haha. He’s very sweet – warning, he may lick your forehead at night 😅. He’s very cuddly (and hungry) and mostly just chills around. He has the funniest, most displaced meow! So unique for a cat who looks like him!
