Lyra urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

I’m being kicked out of my grandparents and moving into my Guardians house until i can get my own place with my friend. She is deathly allergic to cats so i cant take my baby with me. It would be around a year or so until my friend can move down here.

How long is fostering needed for?

Long term

Other notes

Me and Lyra have been sharing a single room for most of her life. She’s very used to being in one space but the times I snuck her out she loved exploring. She HATES the outdoors and car rides make my poor baby cry like no other. She’s terrified. One time I had the whole house to myself and we have a screened in porch and when I went out there and sat down she went with me so maybe if she had more experience she would like the outside. Definitely an indoor cat for now

She’s very good with humans and I’ve only ever had a few other animals in her space around 4 times. Each time she was curious and would sniff them but no outright aggression or malice towards any so far. She’s been around my nephew who is 4 or 5 and she was good to him though they rarely have seen each other. She’s good with groups of humans. I haven’t tried with groups of animals though.

Her favorite activities include chewing boxes, playing with her toys and most importantly windows!!! Me and her are shut-ins in this room so when I’m home, which is 95% of the time, we have the window open for fresh air. She’s never tried to break the screen or anything but if the blinds aren’t cracked at the bottom she’ll probably ruin them trying to look out the window so just crack the blinds at the bottom a little.

She’s very playful so she’ll nibble on you but no outright hissing or anything. I will worn though she will not let you cut her hair or nails on your own and definitely no baths(Though cats don’t need any)

She’s not very interested in treats but i haven’t tried catnip so maybe try it out. She’s has a very delicate stomach i believe(not professionally diagnosed just a guess from me) so she’s only will eat one brand

Now with her skin sometimes she does get scabs (I asked a vet what it was and she didn’t really know all she said was it’s not fleas and its not contagious for those with other animals (She wasn’t that professional so I’m not surprised she didn’t bother with actually trying to figure out what the scabs were from))
