Lulu urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

My fiancé and I are extremely allergic to his cat. She’s super sweet and loves to cuddle and it makes us both sick. We’ve tried meds, shampoos, switching food to help her shed less, wipes, and nothing works.

How long is fostering needed for?

Until a forever home for pet is found

Lulu is a SUPER sweet cat. She loves to cuddle, give head boops, and generally be in your lap. She was rescued from a lady who had a large number of cats who couldn’t take care of them all when she was young. She’s been with my fiancé’s mother for 4 years, then came to live with us about a year ago due to Lulu causing arthritis flare ups in her. We have tried everything to be able to keep her but we just can’t give her all the love she needs and deserves anymore without huge allergy flare ups(hives, itchy eyes, swollen faces/hands/ankles/eyes).

She doesn’t jump on counters. She typically likes to perch on top of the couch or on the window sill. Liter box trained. She’s absolutely an inside cat. My fiancé and his mom never let her outside. She isn’t chipped. She has been spayed. I don’t know how she would act around other cats or small children. She did come from a home with other cats so i imagine she would do well with friends, but i genuinely don’t know.

We are very sad to see her go, but she absolutely deserves to be in a home with people who can give her all the love and cuddles she needs. I hope she can find the perfect forever home.
