Lucy urgently needs a foster home
Why is fostering needed?
I need to move on a very short notice, but plan on staying in/near the Tigard area. Born and raised here, kids are grown and my elderly father is near by (87, very healthy!). I’m alone otherwise, except for my 2, sweet cats! I just need the time to focus on packing and finding our next space (been in this apt. 14 years). It breaks my heart to think of not seeing them, even if temporarily. Rhee, 1 and a 1/2 (white & gray) plays fetch, like a dog, with me all day if she could and I’m all she’s ever known. Lucy too (12 yr old calico), could fit in the palm of my hand when I adopted her from a homeless camp next to a friend’s work site. Both are 100% indoor, faithful to the cat box, NO bad habits, never scratch or bite! They could be placed apart but prefer them together. I desperately will need them back!
How long is fostering needed for?
A few weeks
Lucy is 12, very docile and friendly! She sleeps a lot these days and loves a fleece blanket in a sunny spot. 100% indoor, faithful to the cat box, likes a scratch pad now and then, NO bad habits! Purrs all the time when petted and loves to cuddle! She’s been with other cats (give her time), but never has been around dogs but I’d think she’d be OK as long as she feels safe. Honestly, she sleeps a lot except when it’s time to eat! She’d be great with kids. She’s so easy going !
