Lucy urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

I just got evicted in September and had to move back home with my mom and grandmother. My dog is as sweet as can be but can be dog reactive and unfortunately I’m in a situation where I do not have the funds to board her until I’m back on my feet, and the homeowners (my grandmother and her wife) are heartless and refuse to let her stay here because of the fact she’s a pitbull and “poses a risk”. She is not a liability at all, she has a bite history of warning bites to other dogs (only about 3 times) and does need a one on one home, however she is the sweetest baby ever. She’s goofy and if I don’t find someone in the 2 weeks time that was just sprung on me, I will be forced to impound her. That scares me.

How long is fostering needed for?

A few months

Other notes

Hi Future Foster! I’m Lucy (3yrs, 41lbs, Spayed, updated on all shots/vaccines FM) and I’m said to be frank and opinionated, sassy and spunky, playful and lively, goofy and comical, loyal and protective, social and quick to befriend my human pals, smart and eager to learn (especially with the right treats!) curious and prone to investigate, athletic and ready to go, adventurous and eager to explore, daring if not mischievous, bouncy and eager to play, snuggle-worthy and eager to cuddle, vocal and chatty and a true extrovert with a love for swimming, walking, running, wrestling, games of chase and cuddles with my human pals, food puzzles, butt scratches and belly rubs, tug o war and fetch, kong toys and hard chews, soft toys and squeakers, being pet, sunbathing, dog TV, crinkle and plush toys and hitting the snooze button twice! Unfortunately my mommy is experiencing hard financial times and she has been given 2 weeks to find a place for me or else the homeowners will put me in the pound! My mommy is willing to supply all that the foster will need to make this a positive experience, including dog food, dog toys, dog treats and quality time if the foster can’t walk me. I really don’t want to be rehomed because my mommy is a good mommy, she just neeeds a little help! I’d love a foster without pets and one who knows the value of TLC! Is that you? Oh, and before I forget I’m house-trained, potty-trained, leash-trained with harness (head or chest harness) know stay, sit and down! Foster me today and let’s snuggle and play!
