Lucy urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

I’m hoping to help find a temporary foster home for my friends’ sweet dog, Lucy.

Lucy’s owners are going through an unexpected family crisis and are not able to bring her to their temporary home. They hope to be in a new home, where they can welcome back Lucy in about 6 months to a year.

Lucy is 4 years old. She is part Boston Terrier and part Chihuahua. She is healthy, spayed, playful, and great with kids, but unfortunately doesn’t get along well with other dogs (unsure about other pets). Lucy is house trained and crate trained and loves belly rubs!

When I visited Lucy’s family last week, to help them during this time, I saw so much loss that they are experiencing. I so hope that permanently giving up Lucy won’t have to be another loss for her owners to mourn – especially the kids.

Lucy is 4 years old. She is part Boston Terrier and part Chihuahua. She is healthy, playful, loving, and great with kids, but unfortunately doesn’t get along well with other dogs (unsure about other pets). Lucy is house trained and crate trained. And she loves belly rubs! She comes with a collar, leash, crate, crate cushion, dog food, and a few favorite toys.
