Louie urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

My temporary resident doesn’t allow dogs but once I move out, I’ll find a place that will accept pets.

How long is fostering needed for?

Louie is very loving and emotional. He does have anxiety and will won’t feel comfortable in certain places. When ever people are going to eat he needs to be put in his kennel . He will bark and snap at whoever comes close to the other person eating food. Do not grab him by the collar because he will feel threatened and try to bite back . If you tell him “kennel”, “go to your kennel Louie” he will listen . He knows to sit, lay down, jump and kennel . He is also potty trained . At new places he might pee or poop due to him being nervous, however once he knows what door to use to go outside he will scratch at the door or jump to let you know he needs to go to the bathroom. Also since he will be new to someone’s home I will say to not let him get on the couch while he’s napping , he gets startled and will bark at someone walking past , it’s best to have him lay in his kennel or his dog bed and if he’s napping best to leave him alone . Or if you want to wake him up , I’d suggest talking to him nicely so he knows you’re not trying to attack or hurt him . At night when it’s time for bed he needs to be put in his kennel . If he sleeps in bed and you try moving him you will hear him growl .
Ever since I’ve gotten Louie I’ve realized he does act out but I know he doesn’t mean it in a bad way . We have formed a beautiful relationship. He’s truly an amazing pet, I don’t want to get rid of him , however my situation at the moment isn’t the best and won’t allow me to have him with me . And I hope his temporary home shows his as much love as possible .
