Lollie needs a foster home

How long is fostering needed for?

A few months

Other notes

Lollie was hit by a car and has a broken pelvis, but the good news is that she should be able to heal without surgery in a patient foster home. Lollie will need to stay crated in a large dog kennel with access to her food and litter pan (all supplies provided) until 8/1/22. Luckily she absolutely loves human attention (and breakfast in bed!) and just wants someone to keep her company while she heals.

She could do well in a house with dogs, cats or kids but will need her own quiet space since she can’t move quickly and needs to rest.

She will need to come back to the shelter for a few checkups with our veterinarian, but does not require daily medication and our medical staff is happy to show you how to safely move her without injuring her healing pelvis.

It is ideal if you can foster Lollie for the entirety of her healing period, though fosters of at least 4 weeks will be considered.
