Kia needs a foster home

Kia is a medium mixed breed spayed female weighing 29 pounds. Kia’s owner passed away and she was surrendered to the county shelter. She is reported to be housetrained. She seemed friendly to a cat we passed at the shelter so she might be cat friendly. She seemed a little grumpy towards my eager puppy so she may need some time to decompress before being introduced to resident animals. She is a little timid about being stood over and reached for so she does better when you sit on the ground to pet her. She is very playful with toys and has a great amount of energy.
