Kehlani urgently needs a foster home
Why is fostering needed?
I’m a veteran with severe mental health issues that just aren’t compatible with her. I love her to death but it’s at the point of dangerous for me. She’s been through training and I’ve been doing therapy, i really think a yard would do her a lot of good. There’s more but having a very hard time finding anyone who will take her.
How long is fostering needed for?
Until a forever home for pet is found

Hi! My name’s Kehlani and I’m a high energy sweetheart. About 2 1/2, I love going on runs, riding in the car to go on adventures, playing fetch with squeaky toys, toy hide and seek, giving sloppy kisses, and snuggles! I was adopted from Denver Animal Shelter who confiscated me after I was abandoned, so I have a bit of a rough history. But now I know all the basic commands and more, plus a few military hand signals! Been through professional training but still occasionally dog aggressive. Crate trained but not quite housebroken. I sit before jumping onto furniture or going out on the balcony, wait for clearance to eat, take treats gently, but have accidents 1-2 times/week. Sometimes my human and I run a 5k, and I still have energy to run around the apartment! Last year I bit a human and barely broke skin, so now I have a record :(. My new home should have a yard for me to burn off my energy, no other dogs, and an owner who can handle my unique needs. Thank you!
