Julia urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

Due to the current state of my mental health, I no longer feel I am the right person to care for my cat.

How long is fostering needed for?

A few weeks

Other notes

Julia is an overall great cat with one major quirk that, depending on who you are, might actually be kind of endearing. The quirk: she’s a very chatty lady with a loud voice. Before I got her, she used to be very fat and still loves to eat, which she will remind you about whenever she decides it’s time for a meal. She will always tell you exactly when she wants food or attention, or maybe she’s just telling her life story. Hard to tell. Otherwise, she is a very normal cat. She will gladly play with toys for a bit (little balls, laser pointer/flashlights, and especially anything on a string are favorites), and she sometimes wants to be pet, but like playtime, prefers to keep it brief. She definitely likes hanging out in the same room as people, though – whenever I’m home, she’s usually somewhere she can see me. Apart from the meowing, she is well behaved and seems to learn what she is and isn’t allowed to do.
She is up to date on vaccinations until April and doesn’t need any medications. The shelter I adopted from (Wake SPCA) said she does not like other cats very much, although outside the stressful confines of a shelter, might not be such an issue.
Overall, she’s a cat.
