Jean Claude/ we call him BoyDog too urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

My boy Jean Claude “BoyDog” is in need of medical care as soon as possiable. He needs a quite, calm place he can stay to start his heartworm treatment. His big smile and cute way he taps his front feet when he talks to you will brighten your worst day!
I’m living at my sisters house right now (had to move in unexpectly to recover from a life-threatning medical situation and can not have BoyDog here with me. I a working on a place where I can have him with me but need a temperary place for him. BoyDog is at a shelter now with only limited time. I have to get him in a calm and quite place where he can relax, enjoy peaceful walks and have human interaction. He LOVES his people! BoyDog is potty trained, comfortable in his crate, no issues if left home alone (just sleeps LOL, watched him on camera). He’s not fond of cats and selective of other alpha (dominant) male dogs. Even if you have a quite room/area where he could rest in his crate, go on short walks, bathroom breaks, and most of all human contact!
I will be involved in every way I can, medical care, transportation, visits, anything I can do to help.
I’m working extremely hard and trusting God to lead me to a place where me and Jean Claude can be together again.

How long is fostering needed for?

Until a forever home for pet is found

Other notes

Jean Claude “BoyDog” has a happy smile that will brighten your everyday! BoyDog is simple, he’ll only require a caring person, quiet place, and brief outside leash walks. BoyDog is at a shelter right now with limited time. He has to start heartworm treatment and has a lipoma near his eye so needs medical care as soon as possible. I will provide anything he needs, transportation, frequent visits, food, and help in every way I can. He needs a place to stay until I can have him with me. I’ve had to live with my sister’s family after a medical situation nearly took my life. I’m recovering now and looking for my own place.
BoyDog is housetrained, knows commands, and eager to please. He has to stay calm so his days will consist mostly of resting in his crate with short bathroom breaks and fresh air (laying in the sun is one of his favorite things to do). He is comfortable in his crate and well behaved in the house. He’s patient and gentle with young children. He will chase cats and has lived with both male and female dogs but will challenge a dominant male. He needs to be kept separate to stay calm so this shouldn’t be an issue.
If you are a caring person who loves dogs, have an extra room or quite area, enjoy some outside time, would you help BoyDog? His time is limited in a shelter and his life is depending on a compassionate human willing to help!
