Jacqueline urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

I have been taking care of my sister’s cat Jacqueline for the past year while my sister Julie has been in the Peace Corps. Because of changes in my family situation, I am not longer able to care for Jacqueline. My father has been caring for her for a few months, but he will be moving to Mexico soon. My sister will be able to reclaim Jacqueline in a year when she returns from her Peace Corps deployment.

How long is fostering needed for?

Long term

Other notes

Jacqueline is very sociable with humans. She likes to cuddle with humans and sleep in the same bed as them. She also likes to bask in the sun. With cats she can be dominant, but she successfully lived with another cat for three years without any problems. Jacqueline is will be turning fourteen this year but she is in good health. She has allergies, for which she once took medication, but the veterinarian determined two years ago that she did not require it any longer. She has good dental health. My sister Julie is committed to paying for her food and medical care.
